Joseph Alan Green, 30, of Judsonia, died Saturday, November 30, 2013 at his home. He was born June 19, 1983 in Searcy and was a U.S. Army veteran. Joseph was an extremely talented musician, artist and writer and avid outdoorsman. He was interested in survival and living off the land. Fishing and hunting were among many favorite past times. An accomplished musician, he played both bass and acoustic guitar and enjoyed song writing. He was our beloved son, father, brother, uncle and friend.
He is survived by his children, Joules Green of Bryant, Jillian Green and Rylee Green both of Searcy; parents, Mark and Debra Green of Judsonia; 2 brothers, Justin Green (Sara) of Searcy and John Green (Taryn) of Pangburn; companion, Raeann Brown of Searcy; grandparents, Wilma Martin of Searcy, Fred Green of Black Eagle, Montana and Joan Odell of Palestine, Texas; 5 nieces, Jade, Mariah, Lexi, Brookelynn and Emma; 2 nephews, Jason and Christian; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Charles Martin.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Services will held on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the West Point Cemetery by Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob-Judsonia. www.powellfuneralhome.net.
