Wilma Dean Martin, 90, of Judsonia, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 3, 2019. She was born May 15, 1929 in the El Paso community a daughter of the late Wesley Lee and Ruth (Tedford) Duncan. Mrs. Martin was widowed at the young age of 34 and left to raise six children on her own. She was a very devoted Christian mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed attending church, reading her Bible, singing and traveling, working word puzzles and loved watching Jimmy Swaggart programs and the Wheel of Fortune.
She is survived by her children, Adrien Martin (Phyllis), Robert Martin (Karen), Nancy Medler (Kenneth), Bonnie Little (Larry), Carolyn Tharp and Debra Green (Mark); sister, Barbara Nell Cleaver; grandchildren, Hardy Medler, Tonya Shelby, Michael Medler, Lisa Ramsey, Sherry Peters, Robert Martin, Jr., Wesley Martin, Jason Little, James Little, Brandon Styers, Brian Styers, Justin Green and John Green; 32 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles V. Martin; 2 grandsons, Charles Adrien Martin and Joseph Alan Green; great-granddaughter, Macy Suzanne Martin; sister, Imogene Oliver and 5 brothers, Billy, James, Jimmy, David and Danny Duncan.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Larry Little officiating. Interment will follow in the West Point Cemetery by Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob – Judsonia.
