May 6, 1932 - November 12, 2019
Melvin Kimbriel, 87, of Oark, passed away November 12, 2019. He was born May 6, 1932, in Oark, AR, to the late Vollie and Hattie (Ritchie) Kimbriel.
Mr. Kimbriel was of the Baptist faith, he did preach at Moon Hull Baptist Church and in Catalpa. Melvin enjoyed wood working, gardening, fishing and helping others. He helped build the fence for Oark School. Melvin loved to spend time with his grandchildren, and great grandchildren, when he was not spending time with his family he was eating at the Oark Cafe with his Eatin buddies.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Marie (Arbaugh) Kimbriel; four brothers: Doy, Mervin, Larry and Gary; two sisters: Joyce and Delores, one infant grandson Faught.
Mr. Kimbriel is survived by his; four daughters, Lola Turner and husband, Terry, of Oark, Brenda Wheeler of Timbo, Trudy Faught and husband, Larry, of Deer, and Laretta Clayborn of Mt. View; one brother Eddie and wife, Paula Kimbriel of Clarksville, one sister Dorothy Criss of Oark, brother in law Dane and Thelma Arbaugh, two sister in laws: Ruby Kimbriel and Viada Kimbriel : twelve grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, November 15, 2019, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home, in Clarksville. Mr. Kimbriel's funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 16, 2019, at the Salus Free Holiness Church, with Bro. Robert Bowen officiating. Burial will follow in Oark Cemetery.
Jamie Wheeler, Billy Clayborn, Brandon Kimbriel, Joseph Turner, Christopher Turner, Weston Turner, Travis Faught, Leah Bailey, and Jared Turner will serve as pallbearers. Great-Grandchildren, Oark Cafe Eatin Buddies, Special friends Paul Cummins and Cavin Kimbriel will serve as honorary pallbearers.

June 19, 1929 - October 30, 2012
Marie Ruth Kimbriel of Ozone, AR., daughter of Charlie and Chaney Bell (Cowan) Arbaugh was born in the Patterson Springs Community. Preceded in death by parents; four brothers, Albert, Alvin, Hoyt and Dean Arbaugh; and five sisters, Martha Arbaugh, Lola Mayer, Elva Cowan, Jewel Stewart and Opal Stepp.
Survived by husband, Melvin Kimbriel; four daughters; one brother of Clarksville; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Arrangements by Roller-Cox Funeral Home, Clarksville AR.
