When Ernest Clifton DeMumbree was born on May 10, 1904, in Paducah, Kentucky, his father, John, was 36 and his mother, Mary, was 33. He had four children with Lona Lee Davis. He died on July 16, 1982, in Searcy, Arkansas, at the age of 78, and was buried in West Point, Arkansas.
