When Oran H. McCarver was born on June 7, 1926, in Arkansas, his father, Byron, was 25 and his mother, Neta, was 23. He married on June 17, 1949. He died on June 18, 1994, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, at the age of 68, and was buried in West Point, Arkansas.
