Lonnie Barton Harmon, 84, of Altus and Denning Arkansas, went to be with the Lord surrounded by family Tuesday, May 14, 2019 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He worked construction, for the City of Altus, a Veteran of the United States Army, and was of the Apostolic faith. He was born December 13, 1934 in Hunt, Arkansas to Silis and Rosey Harmon. He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers; and two sisters.
Lonnie is survived by his loving wife of sixty two years, Margie Harmon of Altus; two sons, Warren Harmon and wife Sharron of Lamar, Arkansas, Johnny Harmon and wife Deloris of Altus; a daughter, Louetta Granger and husband Ted of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; twelve grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at the Old Country Church with Brother JD Ellison officiating and burial at Houston Cemetery.
