James Graydon Harger, Sr. 83, of Ozark, Arkansas died Wednesday, January 1, 2020 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was a retired Veteran of the United States Air Force. He was born May 4, 1936 in Ashdown, Arkansas to Alfred and Ersalane Lester Harger. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Eloise Harger; a daughter, Kelly Marie Harger; a sister, Elleadean Thompson; and a brother, Gene Harger.
He is survived a son, James Harger, Jr. of Ozark; three sisters, Beth Mitchum of Clarksville, Arkansas, Janet O’Brian of Apple Valley, California, and Delores Mitchell of California; and two grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Monday, January 6, 2020 at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ben Lairamore officiating and burial at Houston Cemetery under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.
