September 14, 1933 - March 30, 2018
Billy G. Rogers, 84, of Muldrow, Oklahoma died Friday, March 30, 2018 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was Superintendent of Drumright Golf Course and owner of Pro Shop in Drumright, Oklahoma, a Korean veteran of the United States Army, and was of the Baptist faith. He was born September 14, 1933 in Cass, Arkansas to William Harlan and Ruby Irene Walker Rogers. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Viola M. Rogers and his second wife, Kay F. Rogers; his parents; a sister, Virginia L. Pickhartz; two brothers, John D. and James Rogers; and a grandson, J. Michael Lindsey.
Billy is survived by his children, Karen Bowman and Harlie Rogers both of Muldrow, Romona Imry of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and Ray Walters of Sands Springs, Oklahoma; a sister, Wynell Higgins of California; and nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Family will visit with friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Friday, April 6th at Shaffer Funeral Home, 2315 West Commercial St. in Ozark, Arkansas.
Graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Cemetery Ridge Cemetery with Brother Tony Irmy officiating and burial at Cemetery Ridge Cemetery under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
Serving as pallbearers are grandsons, Christopher Lindsey, Michael, Brian, and Jacob Irmy.
