Bertha Helen Collins was born on January 19, 1906, in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. She married Elmer L Bledsoe - 02 on August 12, 1940, in Utah, Utah. They had two children during their marriage. She died on March 26, 1985, in Kensett, Arkansas, at the age of 79, and was buried in West Point, Arkansas.

When Elmer L Bledsoe - 02 was born on August 16, 1893, in Nickerson, Kansas, his father, Emmett, was 26 and his mother, Annie, was 19. He married Exie Jane Trueblood (1895–1987) and they had two children together. He then married Bertha Helen Collins and they had two children together. He died in February 1958 in Searcy, Arkansas, at the age of 64, and was buried in West Point, Arkansas.
Exie Jane Trueblood and Elmer L Bledsoe - 02 were divorced on July 1, 1936, in Arapahoe, Colorado, after 22 years of marriage. She was 40 years old.
