Inga Dawn "Dolly" OSORIO

Houston Cemetery
Franklin County,
Arkansas

August 13, 1987 - May 31, 2017

Inga “Dolly” Dawn Osorio came into this world on August 13, 1987, in Sacramento, California.
She left this earth and returned to her Creator May 31, 2017.

She was a member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, but also Cherokee, Washoe and Maidu-Miwok.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Madeline and Boyd Birdsong, her paternal grandparents, Amador Osorio and Lyda Lutze, and her soulmate and son’s father, Eli Patrick McCollum.

She is survived by her loving son, Octavian Patrick McCollum; her parents Ernie Osorio and Joyce Hartman, and Inga and Kim Tobin; her brothers and spouses, Shawn and Marcella Navarro, Leonard and Sherri Osorio, Buck and Carolyn Ellingson, and John and Sarah Tobin; her sisters Heather Birdsong, Rachel Osorio, and Madeline Darter and her spouse, Aaron; her nieces, Victoria, Aidan, Sara, and Marigold; her nephews, Victor, Takoda, Nicholas, TyTy, Maximus, Amador, Evin, John-John, Bry, and Samuel. She had many aunts, uncles, and cousins whom she loved dearly and who love and miss her terribly.

A devoted and caring mother, sister, daughter, niece, and friend, of these roles her most cherished was being a mother to her son, Tave. She was always surrounded by family and friends. She was not the type to show much affection, but when Dolly loved you there was never any doubt about it. Her fun-loving and untamed spirit drew people to her. She was outspoken and was not afraid to tell it like it is. Dolly stood up for what she believed in and she loved to love people. A natural leader, she was a source of strength not only to her siblings and her extended family, but also to her many friends who loved her dearly.
She worked in customer service, but she would rather spend the day kayaking on the Mulberry, cooking, listening to music and fishing with her son, and collecting vinyl records.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Shaffer Funeral Home followed by burial at Houston Cemetery in Alix with Mike Pennington officiating under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home. The family would like to extend an invitation to friends and all who knew her to the services and a dinner to follow at the Juanita Burns Community Center in Denning.
Dolly’s humor and wild personality will be truly, extremely, and infinitely missed. While on Earth she was a handful, now Jesus, you have your hands full, but you formed her and fashioned her, so this is no surprise to you.
