Leona Lenora Caplinger, 98, of Arkadelphia, formerly of De Queen, died Oct. 8, 2002 in Arkadelphia. She was born Feb. 8, 1904 in De Queen. She was a homemaker, a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Arkadelphia and the last surviving charter member of Memorial Missionary Baptist Church in De Queen. She was the widow of G.L. Caplinger.
Survivors include: A son, Paul Caplinger of Shreveport, La.; a daughter, Rita Harris of Arkadelphia; and four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Wilkerson Funeral Home chapel in De Queen with Rev. Joe Carlton officiating. Burial will be in Redmen Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
