Dorothy “Sister” Cotton Minga, age 70, of Monticello, formerly of Montrose, died Wednesday,
October 9, 2013 at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. She was born October 29, 1942, in
Lake Village, Arkansas, the daughter of the late George W. Cotton and Flossie D. Gibson Cotton
and she was a homemaker and a member of Montrose Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Minga, her parents, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters.
Survivors are, 2 sisters, Edith Keeling of McGehee and Lucille Royse of Pine Bluff; 2 special sons,
Thad and Michael Selby; special nephew, Kenneth Cotton; special niece, Peggy Hallman; step-son,
James Minga; step-daughter, Janice Nesler; 4 step-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren, and
numerous nephews, nieces, friends and family.
Visitation is 9-10:30AM Monday, October 14, 2013 at Bishop Funeral Home Chapel with Funeral
Services starting at 10:30AM with Bro. Kyle Bryant. officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery
under the direction of Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village.
