Myrtle Louise Bridges 92, of Eudora, AR passed away Tuesday August 28, 2012 at Dermott City Nursing Home in Dermott, AR. Mrs. Bridges was born May 16, 1920 to the late George and Mabel Stites Roberts in the Surrounded Hill and Mack area near Newport, AR. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years Gus A. Bridges, a son Terry L. Bridges, two sisters; Evelyn Walton and Ruth “Sissy” Tubbs, and two brothers; Winfred Roberts and Aaron Roberts. Mrs. Bridges was an avid seamstress and loved to quilt. She also loved flowers and working in her yard. She attended Wilmot Church of Christ. She is survived by two sons; Robert L. “Bob” Bridges (Cora) of Eudora AR, and Marcus D. Bridges (Gloria) of St. Louis MO, one sister Elizabeth McHan of Lake Village AR, eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Saturday, September 1, 2012 at GriffinCulpepper Funeral Service in Lake Village, AR with Todd Clippard officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 12:00 to 2:00pm Saturday. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel cemetery in Eudora AR. Arrangements by Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service of Lake Village, AR.
