HAZEN GARRIT TILFORD
Garrit Tilford, 50, of Seligman, Mo., died Monday, Nov. 10, 1969 at 2:15 p.m. in the South Barry County Hospital at Cassville where he had been a patient the past three weeks.

Mr. Tilford was born March 16, 1919 in Benton County, Arkansas and was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his widow Mrs. Mae Tilford and five children: Gary Tilford of Monett; Michial and Paul Tilford of California; two daughters, Mrs. Sandra Winton, Springfield, Mo., and Sherry Tilford of Monett; a step-son, Bob Douglas, Seligman, and one step-daughter, Ann Douglas, Tulsa, Okla.; six brothers, Willis Tilford, Washburn, Gilbert Tilford, Hillsboro, Oregon, Ralph Tilford, Wichita, Kansas, Harry Tilford, Union City, Penn., Arlus Tilford, Seligman and Henry Tilford of Kansas City, Mo.; three sisters, Mrs Anna Huffman, Galena, Mo., Mrs. Betty Wilson and Ida Henderson of Overland Park, Kansas; and many other relatives.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 14th at Culvers Funeral Home. Burial was at Gateway Cemetery, Gateway, Arkansas.
