"Jacqueline V. Tanner, 79, a resident of DeQueen, AR. died Saturday, April 29, 2006, at a local hospital.
Graveside service: 2 p.m. Wednesday in Redmen Cemetery, Father Norman Amps officiating.
She was born Nov. 4, 1926, in Denison to Clarence R. and Anna Lou "Dutchy" Kelley Tanner.
She attended Technical High School in Fort Worth, and played clarinet in the band. She later graduated with honors from Texas Weslyan University.
She was a retired teller and supervisor with First National Bank in Fort Worth. She was a former member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Fort Worth, where she sang in the choir, and was a member of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Foreman, AR.
Miss Tanner loved music and played several instruments, including the violin, banjo, harpsichord, ukulele, organ and piano.
Survivors: Sister, Patricia Briant, nephew, Paul Briant, both of DeQueen, AR; niece, Vicki D. Fettes of Albuquerque, N.M.; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
