SPRINGDALE — Virgie Lee Montgomery, 96, of Springdale passed away Saturday, June 2, 2018, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. She was born March 24, 1922, in Aurora, Ark., to William Edward and Mary Alice Elvington McElhaney.
Virgie worked as a waitress and was a great mom, grandma and best friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
Survivors include two daughters, Lavinna Wood and husband Paul and Patsy Muller and husband Bobby, all of Springdale; three grandchildren, Justin Wood and wife Erica and Amy and Ashley Wood, all of Springdale.
A graveside service will be Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at 10 a.m. at Shady Grove Cemetery in Springdale with Pastor Bryan Graham officiating. No visitation is planned.
