ELIZABETH — Imogene James, 83, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2007, in Mountain Home.

Mrs. James was born Oct. 20, 1924, in Datto. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Oak Valley Baptist Church near Elizabeth.

On July 17, 1947, she married Clarence James in Pocahontas. He preceded her in death on Jan. 8, 1986.

Survivors include one son, Billy G. James of DuQuoin, Ill.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6-8 this evening at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning.

Service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. with burial following in Corning Cemetery.
