Gambill Funeral, Friday
Funeral services for Mrs. Pearl W. Gambill, 76-year-old resident of Success, were conducted Friday afternoon, July 9, in the Success Baptist Church by the Reverends Ralph Kerley, Gene McNeeley and John Pyles.

Mrs. Gambill was born April 21, 1900 in Ripley County, Missouri and died July 6, 1976 at Community Methodist Hospital, Paragould. She had resided in Success most of her lifetime and she and her late husband, John R. Gambill, operated a general merchandise store in Success for 26 years. She was a Baptist.

Survivors are one son, Jesse E. Pulliam of Corning; two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Mary) Cunningham of Success and Mrs. Tommie (Faye) Russell of Corning; two sisters, Mrs. Omar L. Collins of Granbury, Texas and Mrs. Rose Bennett of Plymouth, Indiana; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. There are also three stepsisters.

Burial was in Corning Cemetery under direction of Russell-Ermert.
