Margie Jean Ramsey, 84, of Mountain View, AR was born August 15, 1925, and departed this life on March 18, 2010. She was preceded in death by her father, Harley Virgil Finch, her mother, Ola Jane Morris Finch, her father-in-law, Walton Otto Ramsey and her mother-in-law, Georgie Gowens Ramsey, all of Mountain View.
Margie leaves to cherish her memory: her loving husband of 66 years, Newton Ramsey; two sons Charles Ramsey and wife Diana, of Mountain View and Carl Ramsey and wife Kathy of Lamar; two daughters Barbara and husband Charles Reding of Heber Springs and Dorothy and husband Derrell Rodgers of Mountain View. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy: Greg Ramsey of Mountain View, Brian (Pearl) Rodgers of Little Rock, Anne (Ryan) Rana of Siloam Springs, Angie (Ryan) Russell of Benton, Jeff (Danna) Ramsey of Jonesboro, Walt (Ginny) Reding of Mena, Kelsey Ramsey and Keaton Ramsey of Lamar and ten precious great-grandchildren who brightened her days.
Margie enjoyed spending her free time camping, traveling, crocheting, and watching the Atlanta Braves. Though she was first and foremost a wife, mother, and friend, Margie worked many years in the family business, Ramsey's Supply on Main Street and later Ramsey's True Value of East Main. She also worked for the Soil Conservation Service, the Chamber of Commerce, Mountain View School Cafeteria and spent time as a waitress at the Junction Caf�. She loved working with the public and was known throughout the county for her beautiful smile and heart-warming hospitality.
She gave her life to Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of the Church of Christ.
Visitation is 10 -11 a.m., Friday, March 19, 2010 at School Ave. Church of Christ in Mtn. View.
Funeral service is 11 a.m., Friday, at School Ave. Church of Christ, Mountain View, Arkansas with Bro. Frank Curtis officiating and the Obituary by Bro. John Dan Kemp.
Interment will be in Fredonia Cemetery, Mountain View, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Eddie Stewart, Garry Stewart, Mike Stewart, Chuck Hastings, Johnny Greenway and Phillip Dobbins. Honorary Pallbearers are Benny Risner and Donald Craig.

Roller Crouch Funeral Home, Mtn. View is in charge of the arrangements.
