Ouida Lucille Vaughn was born on February 23, 1923, in Calhoun City, Mississippi. She had three daughters with Edward Willard Minton between 1941 and 1945. She died on March 12, 2002, in Marion, Arkansas, at the age of 79, and was buried in Lepanto, Arkansas.

When Edward Willard Minton was born on December 19, 1919, in Stone, Arkansas, his father, George, was 26 and his mother, Leatha, was 23. He had three daughters with Ouida Lucille Vaughn between 1941 and 1945. He died on September 16, 1966, in Arkansas at the age of 46, and was buried in Lepanto, Arkansas.
