When Armenda Belle "MINDY-BELLE" Lindley was born on June 8, 1877, in Franklin, Alabama, her father, John, was 25, and her mother, Sarah, was 17. She married John William Walley in 1896. They had 11 children in 16 years. She died on November 15, 1966, in Lepanto, Arkansas, at the age of 89, and was buried there.

When John William Walley was born on September 15, 1874, in Marshall, Alabama, his father, Joseph, was 21 and his mother, Mary, was 21. He married Armenda Belle "MINDY-BELLE" Lindley in 1896. They had 11 children in 16 years. He died on August 15, 1967, in Lepanto, Arkansas, at the age of 92, and was buried there.
