Jacob “Jake” Alvin Squire, 76, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died June 30, 2014 in Circle of Life Hospice, Springdale, Arkansas. Born October 12, 1937 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma he was the son of Jake and Etta (Denwault) Squire. He was a quality inspector for McKee Foods. He and Doris Gibson were married September 23, 1983 in Miami, Oklahoma. Jake was a member of the Trinity Pentecostal Church of God, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking and was a member of Coon Hunters Association.
Survivors include his wife Doris of the home; daughters Cindy McCool and husband Vergil of McAlester, Oklahoma, Janet Baldridge and husband Darin of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Lois Kuffel and husband Matt of Denare, California and Julie Collins of West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma; sons Jacob Squire and wife Anita of Gentry, Arkansas and Jimmy Scroggins and wife Tressa of Salina, Oklahoma; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 5 step great-grandchildren; and brothers Tom Squire and wife Wanda of Kansas, Oklahoma, Lawrence Squire of Kansas, Oklahoma, Leon Squire and wife Sharon of Disney, Oklahoma and Clifford Squire of Kansas, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at Trinity Pentecostal Church of God, Siloam Springs, Arkansas with Pastor Mike Whorton officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at Trinity Pentecostal Church of God, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.

Doris Louise Squire, 71 year old resident of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died March 9, 2017, in Springdale, Arkansas. Born April 14, 1945 in Pascagoula, Mississippi, she was the daughter of Elbert Lee Gibson and Doris Marie Smith Gibson. Doris married Jacob Squire on September 23, 1983 in Miami, Oklahoma. She worked as a makeup monitor for McKee Foods for many years, before retiring. Doris was a member of Trinity Pentecostal Church in Siloam Springs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jake Squire; and one brother, Larry Ledbetter.
She is survived by six children: Janet Scroggins of Siloam Springs, Jimmie Scroggins and wife Tressa of Salina, Oklahoma, Lois Kuffel and husband Matt of Denair, California, Cindy McCool and husband Vergil of McAlester, Oklahoma, Julie Collins of Oaks, Oklahoma, and Jacob Squire and wife Anita of Gentry, Arkansas; sixteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; five step great grandchildren; and four sisters: Linda Richardson of Vacaville, California, Patsy Benefit of Woodland, California, Mary Ledbetter of Woodland, California, and Darlene Copeland of Pryor, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 13, 2017 at Trinity Pentecostal Church, Siloam Springs, Arkansas, with Pastor Mike Whorton officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
