FAYETTEVILLE — Neil Milo Canfield, 64, died March 26, 2018, in Fayetteville. He was born Nov. 19, 1953, in Thermopolis, Wyo., to Merle and Verline Riemers Canfield.
Neil worked in construction as a diesel mechanic and as a heavy equipment operator. Neil was a devoted Christian and loved reading the Bible. He enjoyed working with his hands and tinkering with automobiles.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife Brenda; two daughters, Christina Vaughn and husband Ryan of Fayetteville, Melody Strode and husband Dustin of Nebraska; six grandchildren, Cody, Shane, Justin and Dylan Vaughn, and Jordon and Aaron Strode; brother Orel Canfield and wife Beverly of California; three sisters, Lynette Watt and husband Dan of Wyoming, Janet McIntyre and husband Doug of Alaska, Glenda Moore and husband Ron of Arizona.
Graveside service will be held at Shady Grove Cemetery in Springdale on Thursday, March 29 at 2 p.m., Pastor Allen Lawson officiating. No visitation is planned. To sign the online guestbook, visit www.siscofuneral.com.
