When Martha Jane Barton was born on May 18, 1910, in Searcy, Arkansas, her father, Flavel, was 33, and her mother, Laura, was 30. She married Raymond Arnold Pritchett on December 24, 1937, in Arkansas. They had one child during their marriage. She died on October 6, 2002, in Maben, Mississippi, at the age of 92, and was buried in Lepanto, Arkansas.

When Raymond Arnold Pritchett was born on January 20, 1905, in Lepanto, Arkansas, his father, William, was 38 and his mother, Minnie, was 33. He married Agatha White on July 7, 1929, in Crittenden, Arkansas. He then married Martha Jane Barton and they had three children together. He died on April 30, 1982, in Jacksonville, Arkansas, at the age of 77.
