When Betty Jo McDonald was born on March 18, 1932, in Birmingham, Alabama, her father, Louis, was 36, and her mother, Verlie, was 32. She had one child with Robert Harold Ellenburg. She died on July 28, 2003, in Alaska at the age of 71, and was buried in Searcy, Arkansas.

Robert ''Harold'' Ellenburg of Searcy passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at his home at the age of 87. He was born November 3, 1928 in Searcy to the late R. Lee Ellenburg and Bernice Ellenburg. He was also preceded in death by his precious wife, Betty Jo; his baby son, Phillip; and his brother, Dale, who passed away just a few months ago.
As a young man, he served in the Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Japan. He worked as a welder.
He is survived by his beautiful sister, Thelma Revel of Augusta; six children including, Danny Goodwin (Becky), Roseanna Howell (Eddie), Robin Ellenburg (Marva), Tanya Burdine (Michael), Lisa Agre (Clay) and Molly Coker (R.G.). He has ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5:00 �" 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy with a private graveside service on Wednesday.
