Greta Joyce (Willis) Coulson, 84 year old resident of Rogers, Arkansas, formerly of Carrolton, Texas, died Friday, July 13, 2018 at Apple Creek Health and Rehab in Centerton, Arkansas. She was born on November 21, 1933 in the Logan Community near Siloam Springs, Arkansas, to E.C. (Eupha) and Thelma (Gailey) Willis.
She attended school in Siloam Springs. Greta accepted Christ as her savior at an early age. She attended Prestonwood Baptist Church. She married Robert (Bob) Coulson in 1951. Greta lived in Carrollton, Texas, most of her adult life and was a hair stylist there for many years. In 2013, she moved to Rogers, Arkansas to live with her daughter.
She is survived by one daughter, Karla Coulson of Rogers, Arkansas; brother, Gerald Willis and wife Eloise of Carrollton, Texas; one nephew, Michael Willis, nieces, Kay Wegman and Sheryl Harris of Texas, as well as several great and great – great nephews and nieces and many cousins.
Services will be private.

ROGERS — Karla Jean Coulson, 66, of Rogers, Ark., died Sunday, July 22, 2018, at Earlene Howard Circle of Life Hospice Home in Springdale, Ark. She was born Feb. 20, 1952, in Siloam Springs, Ark., to Robert (Bob) and Greta (Willis) Coulson.
Karla grew up in Carrollton, Texas. She accepted Christ as her Savior in Grand Prairie, Texas, when she was 10 years. She was a member of Prestonwood Baptist Church.
She graduated in 1970 from R.L. Turner High School in Carrollton. She received a degree in music from Jacksonville College in Jacksonville, Texas. Later she receive an associate's in accounting from Brookhaven College in Farmers Branch, Texas.
Karla moved to Northwest Arkansas in 1991 and worked for Walmart in various clerical positions until her retirement in 2014. She then became the caregiver for her mother. Her mother preceded her in death on July 13, 2018.
She is survived by her Uncle Gerald Willis and his wife Eloise of Carrollton, Texas, and many cousins.
