A native of Long Beach, Calif., Bill was the husband of Teresa Rushton Purcell and the son of the late Oliver and eleanora Summitt Purcell.
He was a motion picture special effects technician, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. who served during the Vietnam War and a member of the Fairfield Church of Christ.
In addition to his wife he leaves three daughters, Leah Wadman, Kathryn Villarruel, and Lorna Purcell, all of Ogden, Utah; His son, William Purcell of Wilmington, N.C.
his brother, George Purcell of Costa Mesa, Calif. And seven grandchildren.
The funeral service here was conducted by Bro. Mike Kelley.
A service on Monday, April 8, at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home
in Searcy, Ark. was followed by entombment in Oaklawn Memorial Cemetery there.
