Sybil Onenne McAnelly Melancon, age 73, a resident of Timpson, Texas, and a former resident of De Queen, Arkansas was called home Thursday, October 1, 2015 in Timpson.
She was born March 2, 1942 in Dierks, Arkansas.
Sybil was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Edward Melancon; her parents, Harmon Edgar “Dock” and Dessie Agnes Shelton McAnelly and two sisters, Lois Huston and Patsy Cox.
She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, one brother, two sisters, two grandsons and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services for Mrs. Melancon will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 4, 2015 in the Redmen Cemetery with Ron Tilley officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
