November 5, 1918 - April 2, 2013
Mary Jo Kolean, 94, of Texarkana, Arkansas, formerly of Hot Springs, Arkansas, died Tuesday, April 2, 2013, in a local hospital.
She was born November 5, 1918, in Hawesville, Kentucky.
She was a homemaker and a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Texarkana, AR, and was an elder in the Presbyterian Church (USA).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Adrian Kolean, who was a former pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Hot Springs.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Lisbeth and Lee Pennington, and Norma Jan and Horace Plum; one granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Johannah and Brian Cox; two great-grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
Graveside services will be held at Redmen Cemetery, DeQueen, Arkansas.
Burial will be under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texarkana, TX.
