Donald Ray "Bone" Jackson, 52, of Corning died Friday, Nov. 28, at his residence.

Born at Haleyville, Ala., he moved to Corning in 1996. He was a roofer and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Jackson of Corning; three sons, Donald Ray Jackson Jr., Gary Jackson and Danny Jackson, all of Corning; one daughter, Patricia Smith Nelson of Rockford, Ill.; four brothers, Cremer Jackson and Wilburn Jackson, both of Kennett, Mo., Milburn Eugene Jackson of Memphis and Denver Alvis Jackson of New Milford, Ill.; five sisters, Lane McCain of Rockford, Freda Peterson of Roscoe, Ill., Faye Vaughn of Shirley, Marie Ingle of Childersburg, Ala., and Mavis Otten of Cookeville, Tenn.; three grandsons, Chandler Jackson, Travis Nelson and Troy Nelson; and one granddaughter, Tiffeny Nelson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, some brothers and sisters and one granddaughter.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Ermert Funeral Home chapel in Corning, with the Rev. Jimmy McMasters officiating. Burial will be in Corning Cemetery.
