John Wesley Clem was born on January 28, 1884, in Monette, Arkansas. He married Goldie M Mundy on October 18, 1911. They had six children in 15 years. He died on November 8, 1949, at the age of 62, and was buried in Lepanto, Arkansas.

When Goldie M Mundy was born on September 23, 1894, in Missouri, her father, Samuel, was 25, and her mother, Essie, was 21. She married John Wesley Clem on October 18, 1911. They had six children in 15 years. She died in January 1972 in Lepanto, Arkansas, at the age of 77, and was buried there.
