CORNING Marie Alexander, 90, of Corning died Wednesday, Jan 2, at the Piggott Nursing Center. She was born in Pollard.

Survivors include one daughter, Charlotte Simpson of Las Vegas; four sisters, Mae Davis of Piggott, Florene Blankenship of Pollard, Wilma Carruth of Clarendon and Wanda Smith of Roe; one brother, Doyle Easterwood of Phoenix; two granddaughters, Holly Simpson and Jennifer Simpson; and one great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services are set for Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Ermert Funeral Home in Corning, with Rev. Billy Snow officiating.

Burial will follow at Corning Cemetery in Corning. Visitation is Monday from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home. (end)
