Joseph Keanu Hapai, 74, resident of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, and former resident of the Timber Ridge apartments in De Queen, Arkansas, died at Christus St. Michael Health Center.
He married Nellie Spears April 23, 1977 in Bell county, Texas; she preceded him in death April 9, 1998.
He was a retired truck driver and an Army veteran of Vietnam; he was of the Mormon faith.
He was survived by three daughters, three sons, one sister, several grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, September 22, 2003 in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel, De Queen. Burial followed in Redmen cemetery.
