Floyd Jackson McCollum, 60, of Oxford, Arkansas, was born January 13, 1957, son of Bill Ray and Wilma Gaye (Floyd) McCollum in Melbourne, Arkansas. He departed this life on May 25, 2017 in Oxford, Arkansas.

Jack spent his working years as a carpenter, farmer and was truly a “Jack of All Trades”. He was a son, brother, father, friend and attended the Church of Christ.

Jack is survived by his two sons, BJ McCollum of Oxford, Arkansas and Bill Edward McCollum of Mountain Home, Arkansas; daughter, Jacklyn Lasha Fite and husband Todd of Hensley, Arkansas; three sisters, Novela Scribner and husband Tommy of Salem, Arkansas, Betty Crump and husband Clay of Kirby, Arkansas and Anna Osburn and husband Oz of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; grandaughter, Lilah Ann Fite of Hensley, Arkansas and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister (Alice Karen McCollum).

Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 26, 2017 at Oxford Cemetery in Oxford, Arkansas with family officiating.

Pallbearers are Grady Scribner, Chris Cochran, John Scribner, Billy Martin, Casey Scribner and Barry Priest.

Honorary Pallbearers are Kelly Zeigler, Steve Moody, Steve Worthen, Tim Harris and Roger Bryant.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Barker Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses. Arrangements are entrusted to Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas.
