Mrs. Lena Denton, 76, West Fork, died July 14 at Washington Regional Medical Center. Born April 12, 1900, in Nash County, N.C., she was the daughter of Jimmy and Patty Farrell Massey and a Jehovah's Witness.
Survivors include three sons, Daniel Denton, Bolint, Tex., Ivan Denton, Mountainberg, Pedro Denton, Anchorage, Alaska; two daughters, Audrey Mavis, West Fork, and La Rona Murray, Greenville, N.C.; four sisters, Mrs. Reca Tank, Essie Lee Denton, Mrs. Mamie Massie and Mrs. Ester Brantley, all of North Carolina; 26 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall in West Fork with Dwaine Allen officiating. Burial will be in West Fork under the direction of Nelson's Chapel.
