October 29, 1897
GIBSON, Jefferson - {from The Prairie Grove Record} Jefferson, the 9-year-old son of Charles Gibson, died Sunday morning of lockjaw. The little fellow was playing about the house as usual Saturday afternoon with no symptoms of illness and his death was a terrible blow to his parents and friends.
