Mrs. Myrtle Hash, 72, of Stephens, died Sunday in a Camden hospital. Mrs. Hash was a frequent visitor in El Dorado. She is survived by six sons, Frank Hash and Chris Hash, both of El Dorado, Melvin Hash of Perryton, Tex., Gould Hash of Converse, La., Bobby Hash of Luling, La., and Samuel Hash of Houma, La.; a sister, Mrs. Louise Carpenter of Stephens; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Lewis Funeral Home with the Rev. Hugh Cantrell of Arkadelphia and the Rev. A. Strickland of Stephens officiating. Burial was in Shiloh Cemetery near Waldo. (The El Dorado Times - March 29, 1966)
