Charles A. Hooper, 54, of Huntsville, died Feb. 9, 2004, at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Little Rock.
He was born Oct. 6, 1949, at Huntsville, the son of Alvin D. and Jo Simpson Hooper. He was an automobile mechanic and a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the United States Army.
Survivors include: his father, Alvin D. Hooper of Springdale; his mother, Jo Simpson Hooper of Huntsville; two brothers, David Hooper of Huntsville and Chris Hooper of Fayetteville; and two sisters, Donna Phillips of Springdale and Lynn Gibson of Fayetteville.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Rev. Brad McMath officiating. Interment will be in the Huntsville Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville.
Pallbearers will be Jody Phillips, Mike Phillips, Jeremy Phillips, Duston Gibson, James Hooper, Matthew Hooper, Andrew Hooper and Tyler Hooper.
Honorary pallbearers will be James GIbson, Brandon Stein, Max Bolinger, Randy Coger, Jeff Walker and Sherman Phillips.
