Wife of David Ward Sanders
Married first to Chesley J. Boatwright, who died in the Huntsville Massacre committed at the McRunnel Farm by Union soldiers. Married second to David W. Sanders. Daughter of John C. Long and Matilda R. Sanders.
She was a descendant of John Lewis of Ireland and his wife, Margaret Lynn, who settled in the Shenandoah Valley about 1732 through their daughter, Margaret Lewis, who married William Long. William and Margaret's son, Captain William Long, served in the Revolutionary War and was Drucilla's grandfather.
