ROGERS — Beverly "Kaye" Holt Hahn, known by Kaye, 67, a resident of the Rogers postal area of Benton
County, passed away on the 29th of October, 2010. She was a resident of Ashley Health and Rehabilitation for the past eight months. She died after an extended battle with Progressive Sugranuclear Palsy (PSP), a degenerative neurological disease.

Kaye was born on Aug. 27, 1943, in Memphis, Tenn., to Charles M. and Ellen C. Holt. She grew up in Oklahoma City, where she graduated from John Marshall High School in 1961. She had one brother, Charles M. Holt, Jr.

Kaye attended Oklahoma State University (OSU) where she met her husband-to-be John William Hahn. They were married on June 6, 1964, at Nichols Hills Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. Kaye graduated with a B.A. in Secondary Education from OSU in 1965. After John graduated with a DVM degree in 1966, they moved to Dayton, Ohio, where John was stationed at Wright-Patterson AFB. In 1968, they moved to St. Louis, Mo., where their daughter Kelly Lynn Hahn was born. The Hahns moved to Rogers in 1980, where Dr. Hahn was in Veterinary Practice at the Animal Hospital of Rogers until summer of 1985. Kaye was the of office manager/receptionist of the Animal Hospital during most of those five years.

From 1980 to 2001, the Hahns were members of Immanuel Baptist Church in Rogers, and from 2001 to the present time they have been members and attending Fellowship Bible Church of Northwest Arkansas in Rogers. Kaye was a very active Bible teacher. She taught various discipleship classes including Precept Bible Studies.

Kaye was very active in the Benton County Republican Committee. She served as both secretary and chairman of the County Committee. She also worked on various political campaigns including Tim Hutchinson's Congressional and Senate campaigns, and Fay Boozman's State Senate and U.S. Senate campaigns.

Kaye is survived by John of the home, her husband of 46 years; her parents Charles (Charlie) and Ellen Holt of Bella Vista; her daughter, Kelly Lynn Miller; son-in-law, Kelly Gene Miller; grandson, Jared William Miller and granddaughter, Allison Kate Miller, all of Rogers. She is also survived by her brother, Charles M. Holt Jr. (Charlie J); sister-in-law, Polly Holt; and nephew Charles M. Holt III (Chaz), all of Oklahoma City.

A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010, at Fellowship Bible Church in the Training Center.

Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2010, at Fellowship Bible Church in the Training Center with Pastor John Barclay and Pastor Dale Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery.
