Robert Wayne “Bobby” Adams, 46, of Judsonia, died alongside his friend and brother-in-law, Kevin Gray on Tuesday, December 27, 2016. He was born March 9, 1970 in Detroit, Michigan.
Robert was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He lived his life to the fullest and never met a stranger. He was a very gentle and tender-hearted man who truly loved his family, enjoyed joking around and had a love for children.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, who he loved with dedication and always told, “always, forever and eternity,” Teri Adams; daughter, Cheyenne Adams McDougal (Justin); step-sons, Steven Carson (Dawn) and William Carson; brother, William “Billy” Adams; sisters, Trish Gray, Theresa Smithson (Michael), Sheilah Rogers (Greg) and Marlena West (Matthew); mother, Judith Lipps (Robert); grandchildren, Alexis, Wynter and Brenton McDougal and Destiny, Avery, Anastasia, Violet and Sonny Carson.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Robert Adams; grandparents, Gerald and Dixie Adams and a niece, Leanna Treece. ROCK ON....... ROBERT

Visitation for Robert and Kevin is Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob. Services for Robert and Kevin will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel. Robert will be interred in the Steward Addition of Shady Grove Cemetery.

White County, AR -- December 27, 2016, Kevin Gray and Robert Adams were killed due to an accident in which another vehicle hit them head-on.

According to preliminary reports released by State Police, the incident occurred around 12:40 p.m. just outside Judsonia.

39-year-old Gray and 46-year-old Adams were both in a 1989 Chevy traveling southbound on AR-367. As they were driving, another Chevy that was northbound on the highway somehow crossed over the center traffic line. Gray could not avoid the oncoming vehicle in time, and the two vehicles crashed head-on into each other.

Both Gray and Adams sustained fatal injuries in the collision. They were pronounced deceased at the scene. No occupants from the other vehicle sustained injuries.

Authorities did not say if any charges or citations are being considered. They did not say what exactly contributed to the accident.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.
