Argle Morgan
PEA RIDGE — Argle Morgan, 61, of Pea Ridge died May 26, 2006, at his home. He was born Sept. 19, 1944, in McDonald County, Mo., to Taylor Franklin Morgan and Vesta Faye Scott Morgan. He was a lifelong resident of the area. He worked for Peterson Gas Company for 22 years where he was an LP gas hauler. He married Mary Alice Gray on March 7, 1966, at Pea Ridge. He enjoyed playing horseshoes and was second-place winner in the Arkansas state tournament held in Ozark in 1999. Be was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Little Flock.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Mary of the home; two sons, Perry Morgan and wife Ramona and Jerry Morgan, all of Pea Ridge; one daughter, Terri Morgan of Siloam Springs; three brothers, Bennie Joe Morgan and Ray Morgan, both of Perryton, Texas, and Eddie Wayne Morgan of Pea Ridge; seven grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge with Larry Morrison, Billy Brace and Danny Jones officiating. Burial will be at Scott Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
