Married Mary June July 24, 1965
William Thomas Ashworth, age 66, went to be with the Lord on March 14, 2012, in Searcy Ark.
"Tommy" was a retired dump truck operator who worked diligently to support his family. Tommy was born Oct 17, 1945 and was raised with love and support by his adopted parents; W.W. and Zula Mae Hatman of Bald Knob. Tommy was married 47 wonderful years to his loving wife Mary June Ashworth, whom he adored. He is survived by two children, Tommy Allen Ashworth of Kensett and Vickey schmidt, (Donnie) of Searcy. His greatest joy came from time spent with his numerous grandchildren who he cherished always. His grandchildren, include, Brandon Holland, (Felicia) of Judsonia, Ashley Bennett of Russellville, Thomas Ashworth of Kensett, Lucas Ashworth of Searcy, and Cailin Ashworth of San Diego, Calif.
Tommy also leaves behind two sisters, Chris Edwards of Oregon, Verna Schweitzer of Fowa, and one brother, Danny Sheppard of Sheridan, Ark. Tommy had numerous nieces and nephews, and a countless number of friends.
Tommy loved the Lord, and lived his life treating others as he wanted to be treated. He was a good man and will be missed by all those who knew him on earth but we can all be comforted knowing we shall rejoice in his presence again one day as we meet again at the pearly gates of heaven.
Visitation will be Sunday March 18, 2012 at the Bradford Funeral Home Chapel in Kensett, Ark. from 5 - 7 p.m. and services will be Monday, March 19, 2012 at the Bradford Funeral Home Chapel in Kensett, Ark. at 2 p.m.
