Coy Alfred West husband of Anna Alta (Hollwell) West. Coy Alfred West son of John F West and Martha C West. Anna Alta (Hollwell) West daughter of Robert Hollwell and Martha (Smith) Hollwell.
Anna Hollwell West, 96, of Cord died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2002, at her home.
Born Oct. 4, 1905, in Mount Pleasant, she was the daughter of Robert and Martha Smith Hollwell. She was a homemaker and a member of Cord Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Billy West of Cord; two daughters, Bernice West Douglas and Ann West Kennedy, both of Cord; two sisters, Berta King of East Wenatchee, Wash., and Hazel Moser of Mount Pleasant; six grandchildren, Patsy Anderson, Dennis Kennedy and Tim West, all of Cord, Jan Rushing and Chuck Adams, both of Wichita, Kan., and Lisa Wilkerson of Cave City; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Coy West; a son, J.R. West; a daughter, Dean West Adams; a grandson, Rickey Kennedy; three brothers, Henry Hollwell, Linford Hollwell and Warren Hollwell; and two sisters, Mary Rea and Euna Ruminer.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cord Baptist Church with Gary Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery at Cord with arrangements by Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Wilkerson, David Rushing, Shannon Caraway, Wayne Anderson, Timmy West, Dennis Kennedy and Daniel Sullivan.
