Nov 7, 1887 - Dec 14, 1938
Lewis Stephens Alletag, 51 years of age, passed away at his home near Quitman at 4 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, following a short illness.
Mr. Alletag was born November 7, 1887 in White county near Rose Bud.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs Eline Alletag; two sons, Irby and Wendell Alletag of Phoenix, Ariz.; two daughters, Mrs. P. A. Fisher of Long Beach Calif., and Mrs. Paul Hale of Quitman; a brother, F. M. Alletag of North Little Rock: two sisters, Mrs. Annie Carter of Rogers and Mrs. Luna Hassell of akima, Wash.
Funeral; services were held at the Bethesda church at 2:30 p.m. this afternoon with burial in Bethesda Cemetery, Bro. Maddox conduction the services.
Active pallbearers; Abe Carter, Coda Harrison, Omer Hale, Edgar Maddox, Horace Baldrage Deward Hughes.
The Ernest Chandler Funeral Home was in charge of the funeral.
