Zelta L. Norman, 93, passed away Friday, September 19, 2014 at St. John’s Nursing Home in Fordyce. AR. Mrs. Norman was a member of the First Assembly of God in Fordyce. She was preceded in death by parents, Henry Lee and Ivy Pearl Reeves Beverage; her husband, Ernest Norman; a son, Bobby Norman; and a brother, Ulyess Beverage.
Mrs. Norman is survived by a sister, Armena Davis of Fordyce, AR; a son, Wayne Norman and his wife, Paulette of New Edinburg, AR; a daughter, Rita Launius and her husband, Damon of Camden, AR; a daughter in law, Marilyn Norman of Fordyce, AR; five grandchildren, Jennifer Best and her husband, Kevin of Sheridan, AR, Emily Ashley and her husband, Tommy of Monticello, AR, Aimee Best and her husband, Bryan of Mt. Ida, AR, Shane Launius and his wife, Rebecca of Fordyce, AR, and Jeremy Launius and his wife, Kacey of Camden, AR; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Services will be held Sunday, 2:00 PM at the First Assembly of God in Fordyce. Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Assembly of God in Fordyce, 801 Upton Drive, Fordyce, AR 71742.
