Hazel Opha Forrest 94,of Texarkana, Ark died Thursday November 6,2003 in a local care center. Mrs. Forrest was born December 1,1908 in Sevier County, Ark. She was a homemaker, a member of County Avenue Baptist Church, charter member of Mimosa Garden Club and a life member of the Arkansas Federation of Garden Clubs. She was preceaded in death by her husband, James Vernon Forrest, on October 23,1999. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Helen and Gerald J. Brown of Texarkana; one grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Gerald J. Jr. and Priscilla Brown of Texarkana; two granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Cindy and Ken McNeil of Maud, Texas; and Cathy and Norman Wolf of Texarkana; one sister-in-law, Ollie Kate Hill of Ashdown, Ark; six great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in East Memorial Gardens with Dr. Bill Steeger officiating, under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home. The family will be at 915 E. Fifth St., Texarkana, Ark.
