Carl Ernest Nolte, 94, of Texarkana, Arkansas died Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at his home. Mr. Nolte was born November 27, 1921, in Bradley, Arkansas.
He was a retired engineer from the Union Pacific Railroad. He was a veteran of WWII, having served in the United States Navy, and after the war was in the U.S. Marine Reserves. He was the first president of the Mandeville Water Corporation and was a member of the Mandeville Baptist Church. He was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason and member of the Sahara Temple.
His wife of 67 years, Dorothy Fincher Nolte, preceded him in death.
