Dorris D. Spence, 78 of Mount Pleasant died Tuesday, September 4, 2018. She was born October 22, 1939 at Biggs, Oklahoma to William and Katherine Bullington. She was a homemaker and a member of the Guion Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Alfred Bullington, Bobby Bullington, Johnny Bullington and Jerry Bullington and sisters, Gladys Chevallier and Betty Bullington.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Robert Spence of the home; son, Shane Spence (Michelle) of Mount Pleasant; daughters, Lisa Spence Carlon (Paul) of Benton and Katrina Spence Curry of Mount Pleasant; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services held Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Larry Sellers officiating.

Pallbearers: Aaron Laxton, Justin Gillihan, Dustin Gillihan, Scott Prah, Jason Manning and Dannon Busby.

Honorary pallbearers are Lonzo Moser, J.L. Manning and Casey Hightower.
