Helen Brown, 89 of Texarkana, Arkansas passed away September 11th, 2019 in a local retirement center.
Mrs. Brown was born July 11th, 1930 in Texarkana, Arkansas. She was a homemaker, a member of Beech Street First Baptist Church, Women On Mission and the Jubilee Sunday School Class. She was a lifetime member of the Mimosa Garden Club. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Brown and her parents James and Hazel Forrest.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son Gerry Brown of Texarkana, Texas; daughters and sons-in-law, Candy and Ken McNeil of Maud, Texas and Cathy and Norman Wolf of Hot Springs, Arkansas. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Clint Brown of Buenos Aires, Argentina, Candice Shedlock of Haslet, Tx, Tisha Robinson of Texarkana,Arkansas, Randy Wolf of Benton, Arkansas, Lora Parker of Bryant,Arkansas, Russell Wolf of Little Rock, Arkansas and Eddie Brown of Texarkana,Arkansas and 17 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren .
The family would like to extend a special thank you to our Windsor Cottage family for the love, support and care that our mother received everyday for the last four years. We all received a blessing.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 14th at East Funeral Home, Moores Lane.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 14th, 2019 at East Funeral Home - Moores Lane Chapel with Rev. Craig Jenkins and Rev. Richard Posey officiating.
Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
